Christian with Spartan was extremely helpful, friendly, and professional. He explained all of our options if and when he had concerns and the different ways to handle it. He hooked up our new vanity sink, shower trim kit, and old toilet and they look and run great. He’s been the best part of our remodel so far!
We had the sewer back up into our home and it was awful. I’m not sure how to describe the devastation, but the term “poop-pocalypse” has been used more than once. We called several companies to come and give estimates for the repair, but quotes made it more realistic for us to burn down our house, take the insurance money and move Jamaica rather than do the work. Out of desperation I started calling friends for help, and one suggested I give Spartan Plumbing a call. They came within 30 minutes of me calling. Sammy, the plumber’s/hero of this tale, came in on his day off. With sewage still flooding the basement he descended into the bowels of Hades to assess the destruction and devastation. His assessment was exactly what the other companies said, we needed a total replacement of the sewer line, but he presented his solutions in a way which made it clear I was not being taking advantage.
Being part of a family owed business, Sammy was able to quote me a price for the project that was not only reasonable but possible. We would not have gone with this company if it wasn’t for the way in which he describe the problem, presented the solutions and walked us through the worst case scenarios. I am so glad I did because he also helped me with getting my insurance claim approved. From start to finish, I was overly impressed with Spartan and Sammy and would highlv recommend
Incredible job done by Christian! So polite and respectful. He texted and phoned telling me about his every move. Most of all, his knowledge of water heaters was very impressive. I will use them again in the future.
Ah, the joys of homeownership. Nothing like discovering your frozen spigot decided to betray you by dumping water inside your wall. Classic winter move. So naturally, we called Spartan Plumbing because, well… we didn’t feel like turning our house into an indoor pool.
Now, our schedule was a total disaster — like juggling flaming swords while blindfolded — but Stephanie in the office? Absolute legend. She juggled right along with us, keeping us in the loop, confirming quotes, and basically being the calm in our plumbing storm.
Then Vaughn showed up. This guy? Pro. Listened to our long, panicked story, explained everything like we weren’t clueless homeowners (even though we totally are), and answered every question without rolling his eyes once. Bonus points for the shoe covers — classy move, Vaughn. He even left to grab parts and came back like a plumbing superhero, sealing up that spigot with silicone and insulation like it was Fort Knox.
Bottom line — we’re Spartan Plumbing customers for life. The service, workmanship, affordability, and overall experience were all top-notch. If you need plumbing help, don’t even hesitate — call these folks. You’ll thank me later.
After a horrible experience with another plumbing company the day before, who was trying to hard sell me on a several thousand dollar job, because there were roots in my pipe after paying $1600 for jetting, the senior tech from Spartan came (promptly, I might add, as the plumber from the previous day was hours late) and he explained the jetting job should have cleared the roots. He did not feel I needed to do this major work. He suggested I call back the previous plumber to do the job over, correctly. He spent hours with me going over all of the options. It was clear to me he was being honest and not looking to make a quick buck. It was like a breath of fresh air after my experience the day prior. I only wish I had called them first. It would have saved me money, (they were charging $500 less for the jetting with a one year guarantee). I will be using Spartan for all of my future plumbing needs. Stay away from the scam company, Anywhere Rooter! Update: 6 days after Anywhere rooter did the jetting, my pipes clogged again. I had Spartan Plumbing come to jet the pipes and now they are completely cleared of the roots. Spartan did an amazing job!
