3rd Gen Roofing listened to my requirements and gave me a competitive bid for tear-off of a 25 year old roof, and installing a top grade asphalt composition roof. Within a 10 days of awarding the job they installed Owens Corning Duration Flex (with SBS) Class 4 shingles in Onyx Black with Titanium PSU-30 ice/water underlayment in all valleys, 2 rows from the eaves and 100% coverage for the low slope portion of the roof. And Titanium UDL-30 for the remainder of the roof. New painted drip edge, new flashing, high wind nailing and metal roof jacks. Other roofers were much less responsive, and submitted quotes that were slightly less but they weren’t listening and quoted me only Class 3 impact shingles and provided no details on underpayment, flashing or roof jacks.
The 3rd Gen Roofing crew completed the project for my 1500 sqft house (with attached garage) in only one day.
Clean up of the gutters and yard was immaculate. And the crew was very respectful of my property.
Within two weeks after installation I received a documented warranty from Owens Corning clearly stating that 3rd Gen Roofing crew was a “Preferred Contractor “.
I would definitely recommend 3rd Gen Roofing if you want a quality roof at a competitive price, details on what you are going to get, and courteous and timely responses and communication.
Excellent experience with 3rd Generation Roofing and would highly recommend. We had lots of questions and Zachary Ortwein answered them all with excellent communication and response time before, during, and after the roofing project was complete. The price was very competitive and Zach has high standards for excellence in all aspects of his business. Job started when we agreed upon and finished on time with absolutely no issues or concerns. As the owner and operator of 3rd Generation Roofing, Zach was on the job site ensuring the completion of the new roof went smoothly. Zach went above and beyond to ensure our roof was complete on time, the entire site meticulously cleaned up, and followed up with confirmation of passing inspection with roof warranty documentation.
I can’t say enough great things about Zach and 3rdgen roofing! We had some intense winds that did more damage to an already compromised roof. I spoke to Zach and he came out that day to assess the situation. He emailed 3 estimates (good, better, best) for a roof replacement to me the same day, all using reputable, high quality materials. The day of the project Zach and his crew arrived promptly and completed it in one day! Amazing! The new roof is beautiful. From start to finish only took a couple of weeks. Zach operates with honesty, integrity, and nothing but 100% customer satisfaction will do!! If I could give 10 stars, 3rdgen and Zach would deserve it! Highly recommend!! Thanks for everything Zach!!
3rd Gen roofing did an amazing job. From an easy to schedule estimate, to job completion they maintained communication and were able to schedule the garage roof replacement in a couple of weeks from accepting their bid. The crew arrived when they said they would, and the roof was replaced in a few short hours. They also took care to thoroughly clean area after the job was completed. I truly appreciate everyone involved.
Zach & the 3rd Gen Team were a pleasure to work with. As someone who does not have the ability to pay cash outright he offered payment plans and the ability to accept a credit card which is very rare in the Ark Valley. Scheduling was easy, efficient and timely. The roofing service was done professionally with very high quality workmanship. They left the workspace/yard very clean with no remaining litter. The shingle color options and choices were abundant and I am really pleased with the outcome. Overall, I would absolutely use 3rd Gen Roofing again and would highly recommend to anyone. I spoke with a county inspector a couple days after the roof was on for final inspection and they had nothing but great things to say about 3rd Gen as well.
