Working with Old Time Roofing has been a great, seamless experience. After the Helene and Milton storms, they were very responsive and got our roof replaced as soon as a permit could be secured. Estimator Jimmy was very professional and responsive during the entire process. Office staff were also fantastic and patient, especially Michelle. They were quick to relay progress and notify us of timeline for the job. The on-site crew were also amazing: professional, work was timely, very clean site after the job too. They come highly recommended and we will definitely call them for any future roofing needs. Thank you!
10/16/2024 Update: Still 5 star! Roof made it through Helene and Milton without issue. A small leak developed that appeared to be the flat roof section. Old Time came out within days post storm to check that all was OK. They did a water test on the area and discovered the leak is actually coming from a nearby window. They had me join them on the roof to see what they were seeing and point out the water pathing. The prompt service and troubleshooting were much appreciated!

We had a great experience with A Old Time Roofing. We received 2 quotes and A Old Time Roofing had the best price. They also included the double layer underlayment in their standard quote vs the competition that had it as an add on for almost $10,000 more.
Cort Bennett was our project manager and he was kind and honest from the start. Throughout the project, Ted, the owner, also stopped by regularly to check on the work, make sure I was happy, answer any questions, or show me anything I wanted to see. He even took me up on the roof to see everything before the tile was installed. Neat to see the work and quality they did.
The wait for tile was about 5 months. As soon as they knew the tile was close to being ready, they completed demo and the underlayment in 5 days – pretty quick! 2 weeks later the tile was delivered. 3 days later the roof was done.
The crews were friendly and focused. They kept the work fairly clean for a roof. They regularly walked the property with magnets to pick up any screws or nails. They cleaned up when they were done.
Overall a great experience and fast process. Couldn’t be happier. Anything I noticed, they fixed right away. Pricing stayed true to the contact and there were no surprises.
Even when the inspector came, and realized who did the roof, he stated – you used one of the good ones – I never find issues with A Old Time Roofing.

My insurance company forced my hand and suggested that I replace my Spanish title roof due to its age. I checked with a few neighbors and Old Time Roofing was suggested they have done many of the homes in my neighborhood. I was put into contact with Jack and everything went really well. The roof looks great, and the quality of the work is outstanding. Now the neighbor behind me is having his done by Old Time as well.
We recently had our roof done with Old Time Roofing…As it is with most people, when it comes time to get a roof done…there are many apprehensions…cost, quality of work, time it takes to complete the job and the character of the individual you are allowing to work on your home.
I will admit that I had some reservations when the crew arrived due to the language barrier…but as I quickly found out…craftsmanship, honesty, integrity and conscientiousness of the customer are universal…in spite of any language issues.
The crew that worked on our home was fast…their work was impeccable and the degree to which they were willing to listen to my concerns in real time was very impressive…They showed up on time…worked through the whole day every day until it was completed and left the work area as clean as possible.
I would like to commend two people in particular…first…Martin (Marteen)…he is the job site supervisor and made sure that his crew stayed on task…also…he was willing to break down any language barrier by making sure I understood what was being said at any point in time.
Second…I would like to commend Courtland…the overall project manager…he’s a native Floridian who is sensitive to the difficulty home owners have in Florida making quality repairs after such a devastating storm like Milton…he is honest. forthright and of the highest personal integrity…he made sure all our concerns were addressed and made himself available at all times.
Finally…I highly recommend Old Time Roofing without reservation…they are quick, professional at every level and treat their customers with the highest amount of respect…my house will be 100 years old this year…I can rest knowing that the work Old Time Roofing did on my home will last well into the next hundred years…Thank you Old Time Roofing.
