Beware – HIGH PRICED
This was an after hours call like around 6 PM. My son broke water main pipe to our home by hitting it with a basketball. We had to turn the water off and have someone come and fix the pipe. I appreciated their prompt response and quality repair. I did feel that based on the work it was overpriced repair. It was about 3 hours of work to replace the pipe and patch everything up. I was expecting maybe $300. Not many parts required. The repair cost $740. I felt stuck because we needed water and it was after hours. In this case I feel the company took advantage. I didn’t have the opportunity to get quotes etc…, If I had, I probably would choose a different provider going forward based on the price alone – not the work.
Alvarez plumbing was very professional, worked with my schedule and fixed my shower faucet leak and replaced my sink faucet and hardware on the weekend with ease. Perry has over 40 years of experience and it shows, I was very impressed with his knowledge, professionalism and friendliness. Would definitely recommend.
I called Alvarez Plumbing based on recommendations from friends. When Evis (or Elvis) as I called him arrived I knew I had made a good decision. He was professional, knowledgeable of my situation and explained my options. He presented a detailed cost and we scheduled the repairs.
On the day of my choice he arrived with Daniel and they did a terrific job. They repaired everything as agreed upon, cleaned up the space and were gone. I would highly recommend this local family business of 47 years. They were kind, courteous, and fair in pricing. I will definitely call them again should the need arise. Good job everyone!
Jarod was at my house VERY quickly after I reported a problem. He thoroughly diagnosed the situation and had everything working perfectly in a very short time. He cleaned up everything before he left. He was very polite and personable and I will definitely be calling Alvarez again if something else arises. Happy customer here!
Alvarez responded quickly and had a team out the next morning to fix a small, slow leak under my (dirt) driveway. They were courteous, found the issue quickly and showed me photos of the repair. My only disappointment was the cost – well over $800 even with a $100 discount because it “was easy.” It was about an hour of work, 3 short pieces of PVC pipe and four 90 degree angle joint. Seemed pretty high but they did know what they were doing. Good work done.
