Sloppy unprofessional work. Inattention to basic details like the use of the building they were doing the original plumbing for and the desires of the client.
Poor communication within their own company between those doing the wiring and those doing the plumbing
Unprotected wires. Extra hole in floor because didn’t bring the wire in for the well when they brought in the pipes from the same trench. Extra unneeded hole in the wall with a wire connected to nothing on either end. No sealant around holes to keep out rodents.
First couple experiences were good. Last and current experience, not so much. Scheduled a pump repair for 12-2pm. Guy didn’t show up until after 5 and I had to call for status. One half day of vacation wasted. That visit resulted in scheduling a new pump/bladder installation a week later.
Day of scheduled install, I get a call that morning they are canceling because of the rain for “drainage issues”. One day of vacation wasted.
Rescheduled for a week later for 8am arrival. At 8:30 I called for status and was told he’s running late at the supply store. After hanging up, I started wondering why they were at the supply store. Since it was initially supposed to be installed a week ago, I kinda thought they’d already have the products. So, I am currently waiting to see when they will get here and if this is going to be another vacation day wasted.

We were having issues with our furnace coming on but not heating. The technician Rob was very helpful and detailed on the problem with it. Unfortunately, there wasn’t a quick fix on a furnace as old as ours. For safety, he recommended we replace. Not a solution we’d like but who does 😄. He set up a technician Ryan to come the next day to give me an estimate on the replacement which I appreciate greatly. Amazing service by Rob and also the pleasant young lady that answered the phone when I called. She kept me abreast of when the technicians would show up and answered any other questions I’d have.
We did replace our furnace and the guys were professional, nice, efficient, and detailed on how it and the new thermostat works. They cleaned up everything and made sure all was how it should be. We will for sure call this company for all of our HVAC needs. Thanks!
I had a great experience with Big Red and can’t recommend this company enough…
First had an HVAC inspection, since my unit had not been serviced like ~10 years. Despite the age of the unit, everything checked out okay and no service or repairs were recommended. Woohoo!
Then I had a plumber from Big red come out to discuss a new water heater as mine was on its way out. The tech was extremely patient, answered all of my silly questions, and ended up recommending a really great unit for my space.
The water heater went in, they did a fabulous job on the install, and even fixed the outlet of my sump for no charge while they were at it!
I would give 6 stars if I could =)
Great service. Started with Sales Consultant Ryan Geiger. He was super helpful, informative and professional. He followed up with me to answer all my questions and helped me pick the right hvac system for my home. He was not pushy with his sales and I felt zero pressure either way. He was just really helpful.
All 3 installers were efficient, kind and neat and clean. They took time to explain my entire hvac system to me. Really appreciate them!
