I’m actually super disappointed writing this review. I have had positive interactions in the past with this company on my previous house but this time around I was shocked on how low the standards have dropped.
So day one goes well. They strip the old shingles, get the sub roof fixed, and then they were apparently waiting for an inspection. Fine makes sense. I am reassured it will happen the next day. Well shortly after, I notice a very large stress crack on my ceiling. Fine, its a lot of weight and old plaster so I just deal with it. Fast forward almost a week. Still no crew to follow up on the rest of the job. I was going to just deal with it because I understand post hurricane there’s probably a lot of work out there. However, I noticed more stress fractures in my ceiling. I understand that’s a complication of a new roof that isn’t uncommon. The frustrating part is, if there wasn’t 8 bundles of shingles stacked directly on top of each other (Above where the cracks appeared), for about a week longer then I was expecting, the secondary cracks wouldn’t have happened. So I call the office. I spoke with a secretary who was in the production building. I explain the scenario and she places me on a hold. She comes back on at 6 pm and tells me a crew is on the way.
So were you waiting for an inspection to finalize or were you waiting for the owner of the home to get mad? They did end up fixing the roof promptly but what if I didn’t call? I have to remind a business to do a job they were mostly paid for and contracted for?
The insult to injury was that I got the invoice for the second half of the job before it was done. When I paid the day after it was actually completed, there was a late fee… The only people that were late was Chapelle. I still haven’t got a refund. Its only like 40 bucks but its the principle of the matter.
My wife and me both have stepped on nails that have completely penetrated our shoes and luckily didn’t break the skin. We have a small daughter and dog that we have needed to be super cautious about when they’re walking around outside our own home…

The contractor I hired found moisture in my ceiling secondary to them leaving the sub roof exposed so long. So I guess I’m going to lawyer up.
Chappelle Roofing just replaced the roof we lost during Hurricane Milton. They were responsive when we reached out for a quote and the price was very reasonable. Carlos, the project manager, kept me informed throughout the process. The entire project was done a couple of weeks after the contract was signed. Great job all around.
Outstanding work, “Carlos” was a pleasure to work with. Roof repair was excellent, they replaced all the screws in my metal roof.. Great company. Highly recommend.
I wanted to say how much TJ Ryan and his crew went above and beyond in replacing my roof. He kept me informed every step of the process. The roofers sure know their stuff! I was impressed with the detailed workmanship of installing the drip edge. They went as far as cleaning off any tar that was left behind. This was the second roof I had them do. Too bad I do not have any more to replace. I will recommend to all my friends and neighbors!! Wish I could give 10 stars!
