I am a review enthusiast. I make 99% of my decisions based on reviews. Despite the 1 poor review this company has, I called to speak to them. I only work with professional licensed and insured contractors for all my home projects, and after reading the reviews of CityWide Roofing I decided to give them a try. I called for my free estimate and they asked me more questions than I thought I needed to answer, but in the end it only made me feel more comfortable that I would get an estimate that later on won’t turn into a down payment! You know how lots of companies give you an estimate and later on they’re… well, you need to change this too, and that is broken, and we need to do this and that and you end up with a crazy amount you have to pay. Once they’ve started working on your roof, what can you do? They explained to me why they were asking those questions in a very patient and informative way and now I completely understand what roofing companies have to do to make an appointment with a customer and how difficult it is to give a free estimate. I thought my roof was too old (and leaking!) and needed to be replaced. Lee suggested the most cost efficient solution which was to repair instead of change the complete roof. The other two companies I called (to get a second and third opinion) told me they cannot fix the leak and I needed to replace the whole roof. I’m happy I gave CityWide Roofing a chance despite the one bad review (which made perfect sense.. if you have a flat roof it can leak much more than a slanted roof). They were very aware of the safety precautions that needed to take place during the pandemic and I felt very safe with them around. They were also very clean and didn’t leave a mess which I was very happy about. They wore masks and kept their distance. Thank you for that. And thank you for such a great job on my roof. I am very pleased and sad that I only have one roof that needed to be fixed. If ever I find I need more roofing done, I will certainly call CityWife Roofing. You should too. Thank you Lee!

The purpose of this communiqué is to convey my general experience as a result of having worked with Citywide’s project manager, Ben Strashko.
I chose City Wide Roofing and Re modeling Inc. specific to the sizable project involving replacement of the wood exterior facade of my home with Stucco and then painting the entire exterior, and all that that implies.
During the initial assessment of the job I was able to observe his careful attention to detail, sensitivity to my not only cost but my preferences and style. Ben was immediately responsive to any and all questions and concerns raised which give me the confidence that he would be prompt to resolve standard issues and problems arising during the natural course of any extensive project.
I was convinced that Citywide would be quite capable of providing the. “exceptional services…” the company’s formal Introduction attests to.
Of course, the first impression of any company is generally reflected in its Lead Project Manager and as such is of upmost importance. Ben Strashko was able to articulate the companies, project, priorities, and goals, timeline, and defining responsibilities of an ongoing project like this.
He was personable, considerate, and understanding. There is a sense about him that led me to believe he was quite honest and compassionate about his work. That was important to me and undoubtably a great asset to both company and client.
It’s not the manner in which he conducts himself, but his ability to express general knowledge and level of expertise regarding all aspects of the job that put me at ease. Ben provided a well considered, written quote on the spot which I signed without hesitancy.
During the job, I was not disappointed in his responsiveness and ability to problem solve, decisively, in real time to keep everything on track. I honestly believe he would be an asset to any company.

I recently asked Citywide to come out and evaluate my roof. I am actually very pleased with their residential roofing service. The owner of the company is very professional and was on site for the inspection. He explained everything well and gave me options for future repairs. The workers were courteous and did a great job with the installation. They were on time, didn’t leave a mess, and cleaned up after themselves when they left. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
