Cooper’s Plumbing & Air

Recently, I had a plumbing issue and after calling numerous companies, Coopers were the only ones to actually come out and address the issue. Trent and Zack were my technicians and they were amazing! They laid out all of my options and explained everything to me in layman’s terms. No pressure to purchase to anything extra. Pricing was on point. Work was done quick but accurately. Shout out to Trent and Zack! They were very personable (which is rare these days) and we had several laughs! I’ve already scheduled my next project with them and I’m confident those two guys will not only get the job done but throw in a few jokes along the way! Great experience!

2/13/2025 update: To anyone considering using Cooper’s Plumbing & Air after reading my reviews, I am happy to report the problem has been resolved and I believe there will be no further issues concerning the initial installation. I thank the entire crew, who from beginning to end, made sure my concerns would be resolved and I was a satisfied customer. That includes Daren F., Daniel (scheduling), Lisa S. (Customer Reviews Coordinator), and especially the installers, Harrison and Chris Amos. They are an excellent team and took their time to assess and then make the necessary adjustments for the filter as shown in attached photos. Complaining is not something I like to do, but I will give a chance to right things, which I’m thrilled Cooper’s did. The reason I didn’t give back all five stars is because the initial installers left knowing this would be an issue, and the time it took to get it resolved. I feel the company was genuinely concerned and wanted to make things right, which they did.
1 month update: The reply here said someone would reach out to me. So far nothing, although I did get a text asking if I would be available (a week ago) for someone to come out for an inspection. I replied I was available that week but Cooper’s never again contacted me. I don’t know what one has to do get get this company to fix what they failed to do at the initial installation and follow ups, but I do NOT recommend this company for any HVAC work at this point. Update: A year later and their service is lacking so they lost three stars. I have been trying to get Cooper’s to fix the filter area ever since we had to replace the first filter a month after the initial installment. I’ve had them out at least once to address this with no fix except to give me a years worth of filters. Now they want to charge me $1400 to fix their improper placement that causes the filter to tear every time it needs to be pulled out to replace. Never mind it doesn’t go in all the way properly either. For a $16,000 unit I expect it to work in every way!! In addition, I just had my final “free” check up and the tech failed to turn the outside breaker switch back on. No wonder my home has been blowing cold air during the cold snap! Initial review: Daniel was our service person when we needed an AC check. The response time was incredible (same day) and the work, information, and suggestions from Daniel were very helpful in making a decision to repair or replace. A most polite and enjoyable person, his customer service score is a 10! We were given enough information to make a comfortable decision within our budget.

Laura did an Hvac inspection on February 26, 2025 to check that the system was operating. She was very thorough and explained at the onset each area she would be checking (I have the Cooper’s Family Maintenance Plan).

She answered any questions I had and reviewed her inspection noting an area that might benefit for an additional device to avoid possible condensation overflow and damage to the drywall, etc. Laura gave me the estimate with the Family Plan discount and a coupon discount if I elect to proceed with the installation.

Laura is by far the best Technician that has been here for this inspection. Her knowledge of the equipment she was servicing and her sincerity in making sure that I understood what I needed to do between inspections to maintain the system (changing filters, etc) is noted.
I actually had a friend visiting while she was here who was also impressed and made an appointment the following week to have her Hvac inspected.

I was very pleased with the plumbing inspection that Josh Matthews did on Feb. 26, 2025.
He reviewed the areas he would be checking (Family Maintenance Plan) and walked thru the rooms with me to explain it. He also inspected the outside plumbing and showed me some things to watch. I had all the plumbing…exterior and interior replumbed last fall
There was an issue with a toilet that may require repair in the future. I did receive a quote but chose not to do it this time. He was professional, thorough .
I will ask for Josh again if I have any plumbing problems.
I was very impressed with his knowledge and professionalism.
