My home warranty American Home Shield sent Drain Go out for my repairs. As a first time homeowner I was unsure what to expect. Drain Go sent ELBERT. Elbert was absolutely amazing! Very helpful and informative. He provided excellent high quality service. He completed the job in less than 40 minutes. He needs a raise!
I am very pleased with Drain Go
Nathaniel and David were very professional, knowledgeable and courteous…..the issue was not clear cut at all; they had to troubleshoot the fault, and then fix it. Well done……outstanding service.
I had a terrible experience with Drain Go, who was dispatched by my home warranty company, AHS, to check on my hot water heater. They arrived quickly, confirmed that my heater needed replacement, and said it would be covered under my warranty, including labor. However, they claimed I needed an $800 modification to bring the system up to code, which included adding an expansion tank and a drip pan. After getting a second opinion from a different company, I found out that the parts for these modifications only cost around $45, and the labor would have only been $350.
Additionally, Drain Go didn’t make any effort to stop the water leak and insisted I let it continue because of single lines in the home. They also recommended a friend company, DEC, to check for water damage, which felt suspicious. Thankfully, my husband stopped the leak, and we realized that Drain Go was not only overcharging but also trying to help their friend’s Company DEC, make money off potential water damage claims. This company clearly tried to take advantage of the situation, and I would not recommend them.
Yes had we let the water continue to leak and exit the floor through the dryer vent– and waited a week for DrainGo -,definitely would have needed DEC- but praise the Lord my husband figured out what to do for us to at least have water workout allowing the leaking hot water heater to continue! And thanks to Mr Plumber for fixing the problem less than 24 hours and saving us money even less than the out of pocket costs for using the home warranty!
Terrible plumbing service. I have had 2 different appointments with this company. First time, guy supposedly quit. Second time, showed up for estimate. Was to return Friday on the same week for a simple installation. No call no show!! I had to reach out to the company. Excuses is all I received. I have to work and took off for this appointment. Most people have to work. I don’t have times for games with unprofessional companies. I would NOT use this company!!
True professionals! Elbert and Shea were able to come out and not only replace a twenty year old tank, but relocate it to a much better location. This will allow us to maximize our laundry room to add some pantry shelves. Great job guys!
