I heartily recommend Harlan Roofing to anyone. They are professionals and treat you with respect, and I chose them after reviewing 3 separate parties.
-Initial estimator Rob was friendly, knowledgeable, and never tried to sell me on anything. Even advised me against getting solar attic fans installed. Other roofing companies did not have the same attention to detail or level of professionalism.
-They helped coordinate adding fiberglass insulation for the attic as well
-The owner James checked in multiple times to ensure the job was done right. Explained to me how the roof vents worked while he was on site, and allowed me to add more roof vents than what was planned for free. Advised me to ensure my solar panels which were being installed by separate company did not conflict with roof vents. When a hiccup occurred where some parts of the attic did not get enough insulation, took action quickly to resolve.
-Brittney from the office kept in good communication with me throughout the entire process, making sure I was up to date and knew exactly what to expect at every step.
-Installation was done quickly and efficiently, only a couple hours for the tear-off and 3 days for full install. They cleaned up nicely and all the crew was friendly and treated the house with respect.
-Out of courtesy, they also stopped by after my solar panels were installed by separate company to double check roof is still OK and took photos, as well as fixed small patch of damage left by the other company for free.
-I appreciate the 10 year warranty on my roof. Roof is holding up well so far after a rainy winter and heavy winds, no more leaks.
-At the end of it all, they shared a drive folder which contained all the photos of my roof before, during, and after. It was great to see.
If I had to get my roof replaced at another house in the future, I’d happily go with Harlan Roofing again.

We had dry rot, issues with our gutters, and poor patch work in many areas from years of diy attemps and neglect. I also hated the red roof. James helped curate the best plan for replacing the roof, the gutters, and the dry rot. Both James and the team executed the task with precision and professionalism. We are so pleased with the final result and our neighbors would agree, it has definetly improved our curb appeal! The slate black color choice is more our esthetic. This was an A+ experience. Several months ago I had my roof replaced by Harlan Quality Roofing. The entire staff is quick to respond, knowledgeable and did an excellent job in replacing my roof. Shortly after my roof was replaced, my neighbors large tree branches fell on my roof. This was during the Christmas holiday and Harlan was closed. I had an immediate response to my email asking for an inspection. I was scheduled right away to have them come out. I appreciate their timely responses. Great company with quick initial response to evaluate my roof project and quick scheduling of new vent placement. Work was quickly done by Moise who was cheerful and professional. Great to have rest of roof inspected and several minor needs taken care of also. Very happy with work done and will definitely be using them when my roof needs replacing.
