Customer care oversell the subscription in terms of the services offered. Technicians have a different idea on what the subscription entails. I just wanted a rodent problem looked into but they sold me on a whole bunch of other things I didn’t ask or. We were asked to sign a service agreement for $416 initial fee and $125 monthly for rodent and other household bugs like spiders, crickets, ants etc.,After signing the technician went to his truck and came back and said it would be an additional $125 every alternate week. And he tore up the previous contract and gave me 2 new contracts to sign. I told him I called about a rodent problem and nothing else. So we got a revised pricing.
Technicians in my experience almost never come within the window reserved. This is the second time I have had a technician come over and noted the same issue.
Previously we called a technician based on some sounds we heard in the attic. We went through a couple of questions with customer care who convinced us we had a bat. The technician came said he saw droppings but no bats. We assumed he saw bat dropping and the bat probably flew away. The technician who came today told us right away we have a rat problem based on the droppings.
The technician we got today was knowledgeable and did a good job.
Overall the experiences have left us underwhelmed and not too confident in the services due to inconsistencies in the service level from one technician to another.
We’ve been using Orkin now for 5 years and they never disappoint!
They Schedule and give reminders and are super organized and on time!
Aside from that the pest issue is always under control!

The service we had from this Orkin branch (specifically Jose and Alex) was prompt, personable, and professional. They addressed our two concerns, one of which was an uncommon wood-destroying beetle, and I am hopeful that this will take care of it. Time will tell. While the cost was significant, I felt trust that they know what they’re doing and really care to solve the issues. I recommend them.
Superb experience with 5/5 Sam. He was communicative professional and a generally just a lovely honest person. Ask for Sam but overall the Orkin experience so far has been excellent efficient and clear! Recommend every time
