Extremely Disappointed – Avoid at All Costs
My experience with Pipeworks was nothing short of a nightmare. From start to finish, their service was unprofessional, and the quality of work was inadequate.

The replacement of my boiler was handled poorly. Not only did they fail to install it correctly, but the installation also failed the city inspection due to improper work. To make matters worse, the installation clogged all the pipes around the house, requiring urgent repairs from another company. As if that wasn’t enough, they started work without the proper permits, which is not only unprofessional but illegal, leaving me at risk of potential fines.

Communication with Pipeworks was equally frustrating. Their customer service team was rude and dismissive, refusing to take responsibility for the poor workmanship. Despite several attempts to reach out via calls and emails, they have not offered any compensation or even a sincere apology for the extra costs and inconvenience I faced.

When we delayed paying the 30% of the balance due, they immediately placed a lien on our property, creating additional expenses for legal and filing fees.

I deeply regret ever hiring Pipeworks. Their lack of professionalism, skill, and customer care is shocking. Do yourself a favor—save your time, money, and stress by choosing a more reliable plumbing service.

My home was built by amateurs that had absolutely no clue what they were doing. I’ve had consistent issues with a variety of plumbing issues and I’ve had many different plumbers come to make repairs over the years. I ended up with a major issue with my jacuzzi that FOUR different companies couldn’t figure out. The plumber that came, Jason, was able to devise a way to repair the issue for less than it cost to have the other plumbers come look at the problem. So, I decided to have him look at a few other problems that I had been quoted as much as $8,000 to repair with $6,500 being the lowest estimate. He literally said “Give me a minute. Let me see if I have a part with me. He comes back and fifteen minutes later has the “clog” I’ve been dealing with resolved without cutting through concrete like I was told was a necessity by several other plumbers. That was six months ago and I have not had to call a plumber since for the first time in 15 years since I’ve lived here. Total cost for both fixes? $390. I couldn’t believe it. I guess that’s why they came highly recommended by a local retired plumber I know. I can’t thank you guys enough and will recommend you forever.

We had a very disappointing experience.

They sent a technician to look into our leak. We are new to the area and I feel like they tried to take advantage of us.

Just to cut the drywall to locate the leak they charged $250

They charged another $250 to supposedly seal the toilet/flange – but that was not the source of the leak

So … $500 was a total waste, but wait!!! Then they asked to run a test and charge another $1000 for it. This $1000 was just a test. Then they would charge more for the actual repairs etc etc …

I found the leak myself and I fixed it for less than $100 – including the tools I had to buy from home depot.

I was not home for the repairs. I trusted that their technician would not need someone to monitor him. My wife said, he was pretty much on his phone texting back and forth – probably with his manager on how much they should gauge us …

How did they get so many good reviews?

You will not have our business anymore.

Yes I use an alias. This is not my real name. I have had bad experiences with crazy people trying to retaliate.

This company was very unprofessional. The owner, Jason Schaffrick came to our house to give us an estimate. We needed to add or fix a faucet for the front lawn.
I mentioned to him that another company looked at the possibility of adding another line using the water heater in the basement. Jason looked and said it was possible, he proposed adding pipes through the garage and bringing the new faucet to the front of the house.

We agreed on the estimate given and I waited couple of weeks for them to get started. When his worker started the job he opened the ceiling in the basement by the water heater, added pipes in the garage and opened a hole to the outside of the house for the new faucet.
After 2 hours of work, he said he was leaving the job because it was not possible, he had reached the chimney. He said that Jason would need to come back to check if additional pipes can be added around the garage.
I did not agree on putting more pipes and asked him to remove all the pipes before he left because for Jason to come back would mean another two weeks. He removed all the pipes except the faucet because he said if he removed the faucet a hole would be left in the garage. He also said that the company would need to send someone to fix the hole as in the garage and the basement.
I spoke with the company manager, Alyssa back and forth and agreed on a date to patch the holes.
After couple of weeks Jason came with another worker and said he will remove the faucet but will leave a hole and we would need to fix the sheetrock in the basement. When I told him I did not agree and that he shouldn’t be opening holes without being sure, he started raising his voice and tried to intimidate me. I told him to stop talking to me the way he was doing and he said it was his way of talking. He also said he supposed the job was doable because another company had previously given that solution.
I truly believe that in any profession you should not assume something only because another person said it can be done. You should investigate even if it takes a little bit more of your time.

FYI another company came assessed and fixed the problem using the old faucet in less than an hour.
My recommendation, please look for another company.
