He arrived earlier than expected, was super friendly, and got the job done quickly despite my dog barking and causing a bit of a distraction. I recently had the pleasure of working with Richard Ortiz, the HVAC technician from “Prime Plumbing, and Heating” and I can’t recommend him highly enough! From the moment I called, I was impressed with his professionalism and friendly demeanor. He arrived on time, fully equipped to repair my heater, which was not working at all in the middle of winter.
Richard not only diagnosed the problem quickly but also took the time to explain what had gone wrong and my options for repair. He was completely transparent about the costs —I felt confident that I wasn’t being upsold on unnecessary services. He worked efficiently, ensuring everything was done to the highest standards, and cleaned up afterward like a true pro.
What stood out the most was his commitment to customer satisfaction. He asked for my input throughout the process and even provided tips on how to maintain my heater, ensuring I would have fewer issues in the future.

John, Richard and Matt were all great to work with. I have a problem-child comb-boiler that has given me no end of grief. These guys were patient in helping me understand the issues and what options I had available to fix it. They were all incredibly friendly, and diligent in their work. They’ve each gone above and beyond what I’d expect from a plumbing/hvac contractor in ensuring that I have what I need. I’ll hire them without hesitation if I ever run into problems in the future.
Did my best to schedule ahead of time for my furnace and ac to be maintenance before my home goes on the market. I booked my time slot for the morning 5 days prior to needing the appointment, confirmed that I was prepared the day before, and made sure we were available for the time window. They waited until 15 minutes be for my 8 to 12 time window to cancel my appointment told me that we would have to reschedule for the following week before even checking to see if there was another tech available. It wasn’t until I told them to just cancel all together that they thought to check with another tech. Even though they found one for the same day it didnt work due to my tight schedule. The situation was mismanaged. Yes, people have emergencies and get sick etc. However, making sure to check all avenues before canceling an appointment is basic customer service.
