What a super experience! Rob guided us through the whole process with patience and much needed solid advice – FABULOUS communication! Sydney kept me updated on financial ends and timelines as well, along with making sure I received any and all necessary paperwork – again FABULOUS communication – and finally ALL work done was done with care and precision – two big storms later! Randy Goff is the worst sales rep I’ve ever had the displeasure of meeting. With much regret, we handed him our roof insurance claim based on an HOA recommendation. Our insurance company covered 100% (over $30K) of the roof expense. Yet with all his years of experience, he still found a way to foul things up. In greeting, he listens only himself while blabbering and mansplaining. Here’s an image of what Randy thinks ‘looks good!’. I disagreed over a year ago wanting it rectified (it looked nothing like the image we agreed to); Months later Hurricane Milton proved it leaked as well. I still email for resolution, but it’s ignored. With the price of roofs in Florida, do yourself a favor and partner with a company that values your business.
We had a roof replaced by RBS Construction and Roofing supervised by Chad and Will and I couldn’t be happier. To start out RBS’s quote came in $2,000 under the closest competitor so that was a big plus. Whenever I get major work done on a house I expect that there will be additional charges so I budget about 15% of the quote. So being under the competitors reduces the overage budget so double good. The final unexpected charges came in at 10% so I was able to be under budget on entire project. The final inspection of the roof by the county gave glowing remarks about the workmanship when they inspected it. I had the same assessment when I went up onto the roof to do a walk around.
While the work was being performed the crew was at the site for 12 hours a day only stopping for a lunch break. Very hard workers indeed. Chad and Will supervised the work and were very responsive. Chad went above and beyond by even giving me his personal cell number to contact him in case I had an urgent request. I never needed it.

Poor communication from our project team. Contacted several times with no response. Roofers broke two exterior lights and roofing nails damaged 7 screens on lanai. RBS did make that right. Fencing subcontractors had to come back three times to fix the fence. Gutters were done well. Overall, not a great experience. Communication from our project team may have made this review better.
