A major reason we chose Roofing Specialist was that Eric recommended additional venting for our roof, and explained how adding the vents and placing them properly will help our house have better circulation in the crawlspace, and keep our home cooler in the summer. Roofing uses top notch materials as well. Highly recommend!!
Our roof was fixed in Spring of 2024 but I purposedly waited till almost a year and after a few days of heavy rain to write a review. The result of their work is that there are no more leaks and this is what is very important.
As far as my experience with Mark and the company. From the initial consultation to the completion of the project, Mark’s team was professional and highly skilled.
The inspection was thorough, and he provided a clear and detailed estimate. The crew arrived on time and worked efficiently, ensuring that the repair was done to the highest standards. The photos taken during and after the repair work are excellent. They kept the work area clean and safe throughout the process.
The quality of the repair is exceptional. Our roof looks as good as new.
Roofing Specialists were fantastic from start to finish. Robert came out to provide an estimate for a complex repair and his expertise was evident. The crew worked quickly and efficiently and cleaned up so well you couldn’t even tell they had been there after the job was complete. When I need to fully replace my roof, I won’t even bother looking for other estimates.

Needed to replace our aging roof and got estimates from a few highly rated companies. Roofing Specialists of San Diego was not the cheapest option, but their estimate was by far the most detailed and Mark Dice was excellent to work with. He was super responsive and extremely knowledgable on all aspects of the project. He also handled coordination with the solar company and even helped prepping everything before the crew arrived. I am amazed how efficient the crew was and how quick and smoothly everything went.
The crew added new OSB sheeting, replaced damaged wood, installed additional vents, replacement Velux skylights and new Owens Corning TruDefinition Duration Cool Mountainside asphalt shingles as well as a new Dibiten torch down cricket.
A few minor issues we discovered were quickly taken care of and our new roof looks great! With the great workmanship and a 50 year warranty we feel confident we will be ok for a very long time. I highly recommend Roofing Specialists of San Diego!
