Storm team did an excellent job installing our hurricane windows. The workmanship was neat complete on time and as quoted. All questions during the process were quickly responded to, thoroughly explained and satisfactory result. I recommend storm team highly.
Go with storm team and you’ll get ignored by your foreman, halfass efforts on everything, broken windows, and a totally unsafe replacement of your outside main breaker box (with a half piece of siding screwed onto it to “secure it” by the siding crew instead of an actual electrician installing it post siding reinstallation like their foreman’s promised). They were a nightmare to deal with in every aspect. Literally ordered the complete wrong color of shutters they promised to replace, and instead of fixing it properly, they spray painted them, lasted one season before the paint bubbled in these NC summers. Not just one problematic employee but several. Try having integrity, doing better by your customers, and not flat out lying. Never a good look.
This is our second time using Storm Team for hurricane damage to our roof and going through insurance. Both times Barney was our representative. He was extremely knowledgeable every step of the way. From the first inspection to the last, he was always there day and night to answer any questions or concerns we had.
As for the roof itself, they did an absolutely fantastic job. Everything was done up to code and inspected and they fought for us to get our gutters replaced instead of just reattaching the old ones.
The roofers took care around the property to make sure there was no damage to our AC units, pool equipment, screen enclosure and driveway. They also made sure to clean up any garbage, old roofing materials and nails.
There were no hidden costs or fees, everything was explained up front before work even started.
I would absolutely use them a third time (Hopefully we don’t need to though!) and strongly recommend Storm Team and especially Barney to anyone needing work done.
We received quotes from Storm Team for a new roof and are very happy with their response and ability to work around busy work schedules to get us quotes and the installation all done very quickly. Brandon Gibbs was my initial contact and saw my job from beginning to end. He was always available to answer questions and explain differences in costs, as well as assure us of the quality of materials used. Once we received financing, we had a deposit, permits, a new roof, and gutters installed from November 8-17! I highly recommend this company for their speedy, friendly services, quick turnaround, truthfulness in quotes and time frames, willingness to work around my schedule, the quality of the workmanship, and great knowledge.
I could not ask for a better company…no kidding! They know what they’re doing! My PM, Ray Wolf, took care of everything, from dealing with the insurance company to making sure the dumpster did not damage my driveway. During this period of the pandemic, my wife grandmother passed and Storm Team was there for me and my wife to assist in anyway possible.
The crew was so courteous and polite to me. They were so neat and tidy, it was as if they weren’t even there. Currently everything is going smoothly, and at the end of the day, my roof will look outstanding once completed! The outstanding honesty and expectations from Ray made me feel comfortable to refer to my Brother in Law and he was approved for is roof and the neighbors of my brother-in-law.
If a Storm Team guy shows up at your door, they honestly just want to help you out. And if you sign with them, ask for Ray. He is honest, a straight shooter and he shows his loves of the roofing business, and especially the customer.
