From my initial phone call inquiry into their business practices to the drop off of 8 of my very expensive Indian “silk on silk” area rugs, the Thomas Rug Cleaning Co. & Ararat Oriental Rug company’s staff were warm, patient, thorough, professional and kind. I was shown their process of cleaning and drying the rugs- fascinating! I was completely satisfied with every step, including picking them up. They came out as beautiful as new. First rate professionals. I had a 40-year old Persian rug with moth damage, in need of cleaning. They were unable to give an estimate to repair the damage until after it had been cleaned, which is understandable because the extent of damage is not evident until the rug has been scrubbed. After it was cleaned I drove to the site to see exactly what the moth damage looked like and had a conversation with one of the staff about the pros and cons to restore the rug (not cheap) or live with it as is. I really appreciate the honesty and forthrightness (what is this rug worth, what will the results look like, etc.), and was content with my decision not to repair the rug. The cleaned rug was soft and brighter than it had been in years. Communications, pickup and delivery were flawless. I get the sense everyone here really does work well as a team. I will not wait so many years to clean my rugs again. I highly recommend Thomas Rug Cleaning.
Thomas Rub cleaning is the best! I have used them for years and with all the rugs in my home. They are incredibly careful, thorough, and there really isn’t any others in town like them. And if you ever have the chance to go into their workspace, it is fascinating. How they wash/clean and repair the rugs. Beautiful work from beautiful people!
