What a great company to work with! They made every aspect of our solar panel installation project, from the initial decision through to the activation so easy. They very clearly communicated throughout the project – hot just what, but how, why, and when.
I had sent several companies a rather long list of questions about experiences, approach, my concerns, etc. The next morning, I received from Triton a comprehensive answer including explanations, pictures, references, licenses, insurance, and more. For example, one question I had asked was about was what I would need to do with the local utility; their answer really summed up the entire project: I sign the paper, and they do everything else.
From my initial query to activation was less than six weeks. That included my decision time, three holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years), a couple of snowfalls, permits from the building district and from the local utility, installation, four building department inspections, an inspection by the local utility, and final activation.
There were no surprises en route to the activation. They always let me know the progress, when crew would be on site, when inspectors would arrive, etc. All I really had to do was sign the contract and provide access to the electrical panel.
Triton provided a very timely and professional response to a small residential roof leak after a bad storm. I worked at a roofing company every summer I was in college, so I am very familiar with the physical rigors, danger, safety requirements, and technical detail involved in being a top-rated roofing company. Triton certainly excells in all aspects. They did a superb job, with a complete and clear expaination of the situation. I give them my highest recommendation.

Todd, the owner, and Jason, the supervisor managing my roof replacement, were both very knowledgeable and professional. They explained the options available to me and the pro & cons of each. They were upfront about the costs and timeline, ensuring there were no surprises down the line. They finished on time and on the budget they quoted, with top quality materials. The installation team was courteous and professional and worked until the job was done. Thanks to all at Triton Roofing!
The sales representative was misleading about who does the work and stated that they will take care of any of little things that might come up durring installation without extra charges in attempt to get our job. However they have a disclaimer in the contract that states verbal promises are not binding. Make sure you heed that with this company. Once you sign the contract with them they are not interested in further communication or returning phone calls and become annoyed with your questions. The actual work crew did not speak english which made communication durring the job impossible. Triton had them working into the night with headlamps because they did not want to return the next day to finish. I was concerned about their proficiency and and ability working in the dark. The next day I was picking up all the trash they missed and found a hole in the stucco. They argued and denied responsibility which went on for weeks causing us much undo stress. They refused to repair the hole they put in the stucco until the county inspector told them to. Two months later they sent a handy man to fix the patch. It took abou 15 minutes to fix. This is a company doesn’t care about their customers or customer satisfaction. We thought we were doing a good thing going with a family owned buisness owned by veterans as stated on their site.
