This was my first time using Duck Duck Rooter. I had a plumbing need (issues with two toilets) and typically I would research a more local, smaller business. This time I decided I would give another company a shot. I remember seeing ads in a magazine for Clay County that had them in there at some point in the past. I called the number for plumbing and the woman I spoke with was very nice. She was able to fit me in the same week. On the day of I received a text stating that the tech was on his way. The text included his name (Marcel) and a picture of him. That was a nice touch. Marcel came with an assistant/trainee (I cannot recall his name), but both men were very helpful. They identified the issues and were able to fix both toilets within a short amount of time. The cost was quite reasonable and came in under what I thought it would be. I would highly recommend this business if you have a plumbing need.
Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I had Duck Duck out to pump my septic tank. The crew was given specific/clear instruction for what lid to access as one had been permanently sealed. They proceeded to chisel open the sealed lid, doing major damage to the lid and tank wall. Then tried to fix it using pieces of cardboard and powder cement mix. Management dodged me for days until I finally got ahold of a gentleman named Randy who proceeded to get irate on the phone with me and actually hung up. I was promised a call from the supervisor when he returned from vacation and that never happened. Would not recommend this company to anyone.

Randy was never yelled at. In fact my voice was never even close to raised. After being hung up on I called back immediately and he tried to say he would never hang up intentionally and it must have been an issue with the phone line. But now you are saying he intentionally hung up because he was being yelled at? Interesting. He also refused to provide any timeline for repair and refused to provide any information on who else from the company could be spoken to as he had such an attitude from the beginning of the conversation. At one point I asked him why he was giving me such an attitude while I was just calling to express concern and his response was “my attitude is about to be worse here in a minute”. He eventually claimed his boss was on vacation and would contact us when he returned which did not happen. Additionally none of your team was yelled at while in the field. They did however complain about wanting to go home the whole time and smoked cigarettes on my property. To lie makes you guys look even worse. Great job. Very professional.
The two technicians who came to pump out our septic tank were prompt and polite. They had to work very hard to accomplish what needed to be done. They answered all my questions thoroughly and were very informative . They did a great job and I am totally pleased with the service. I highly recommend Duck Duck Rooter and I will definitely call them again in the future for septic or plumbing issues.
