Sunrise Chem Dry

Be aware! Smells way worse than it ever did! I was working out of town and asked my daughter to find a good deal on a carpet cleaning for her room and I had heard good things about chem dry carpet cleaning. In the past we’ve always done water cleaning and used to pay $160 for three rooms. This room was pretty bad I’ll admit, we had some pet urine because my darn Chihuahua could not hold her pee in. We were quoted over the phone $160 and when they got here, he said it would be 189 and then said he could not guarantee everything. He had already started and I tried to talk to him on the phone, and he did not tell me price details otherwise I would’ve told him to pack up and go. They ended up doing the carpet and it looks nice but…..it’s been 10 days and it stinks so so bad – way way worse than it ever did! The room is unlivable! It barely smelled before so whatever they did activated something. I just called and tried to talk to them to see if there’s anything they can do and their options were either spend another $600 or tear the carpet up. Seriously?!?!? I feel taken advantage of and betrayed. I now have a room that nobody will ever live in and I don’t have money like that to spend so I have no recourse except to write this review. Believe me if somebody had told me it was going to be $800 for one room I would’ve laughed and said thank you but no thank you! I guarantee you there are way less expensive companies out there. I feel sick to my stomach that they would do this to someone and I am sorry to write a bad review but I feel it’s necessary to warn other people. Make sure you get everything in writing before you start anything with this company. I’ve never paid over $200 for an entire household of carpet cleaning although I will admit it’s been before Covid since I’ve had it done, so I’m sure pricing went up but 800 for one room is insane for us normal folks. Again, I’m sorry to write this, but this is the truth and I wanted people to know. * i’m sorry, but I don’t know how to update my from the owner who said that I refused the treatment. That is not true! I don’t know why you’re calling me a liar nobody ever mentioned $600 addition for a treatment, I promise you! I talked to the gentleman on the phone. He wanted another $60-$80 for the treatment and I thought that was too much and so I said I’m already giving you $200. Please get my carpet cleaned as best as you can and he said he would and that it might have some of the smell come back but I’ll tell you it is horrible now and, don’t of the stains were not taken care of, and there was still litter on the ground little pieces of things so I would really like my money back if you could find it in your heart. Here are a few pictures of the carpet stains to show you I am not lying. I am honest, hard-working individual and can’t afford $800 for a carpet for one room. My daughter has been living in that room for years and it has not been a problem with smell. We just thought it would be nice with the holidays to get the carpet cleaned, but this is turned into a nightmare with you guys and I really would like somebody to talk to me and offer me some kind of compensation for this, thank you!

Donald and Keegan just cleaned our area rug in the living room and runner in the hall. They did a great job and were done within one hour! Have used Chem Dry company in the past and am pleased with their method of cleaning products. No exposure to harmful chemicals which cause medical conditions. The carbonation grabs the grit and dirt and pulls it out of the rugs and sofa.
